The situation: Email traffic and sales are down 20%. Email sign-ups are barely net positive, and there are 221,000 active accounts with about 62,000 sitting in a dormant non-opener list that’s about six months old. These contacts have already been run through a three-email win-back series that re-engaged 1.2% of the non-opener list. Our hypothesis: Non-opener does not equal non-buyer; these contacts can be re-engaged with a non-promotional email series.
